Exactly one year ago, Activ8 Hub launched with a clear purpose: to become a leading innovation hub in Awka, a place where creatives, entrepreneurs, and young professionals could learn, collaborate, and grow. What started as a vision has now become a vibrant, thriving ecosystem that continues to shape the digital future of Anambra State.
In just 12 months, we’ve hosted multiple transformative programs, built strategic partnerships, and provided a dynamic working space in Awka where startups and creators alike feel empowered to build, innovate, and lead.

Activ8 Hub is more than a co-working space in Awka. It’s a community built on the values of innovation, empowerment, inclusivity, collaboration, and sustainability.
Our mission is to drive economic growth by equipping young minds with the tools, networks, and digital skills needed to succeed in today’s connected world. We envision becoming the digital hub in Awka that pioneers youth empowerment in technology and entrepreneurship across Nigeria and Africa.
A Walk Through Our Impactful Programs
AI Workshop for Journalists
In partnership with the Anambra ICT Agency and Microsoft experts, this workshop empowered media professionals with AI tools to enhance storytelling and digital reporting.
Next Gen Digital Skills Program – Ufuma
Hosted at the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, and powered by the Seniom Foundation, we trained over 200 participants in essential digital skills, reducing the digital divide and preparing youth for the modern workforce.
Startup Internship Program
In collaboration with Anambra Techies and the Anambra Startup Network, this program connected skilled professionals with startups, encouraging employment, partnership, and knowledge exchange.
Anambra Creative Hangout
Held on September 21, 2024, this event brought together creatives, artists, and innovators to explore collaboration and strengthen the local creative economy.
Girls in Tech Outreach (LIFT Initiative)
We launched a community outreach program to support underserved girls with scholarships, laptops, and access to digital skills training, showing the power of inclusivity and impact through technology.

Over the past year, Activ8 Hub has launched several impactful programs designed to empower individuals and businesses:
A walk through our programs
AI Workshop for Journalists : We kicked off our journey with this ground breaking event in partnership with the Anambra State ICT agency, featuring experts from microsoft, while exposing journalists to Ai-driven tools with the aim of enhancing storytelling and digital reporting.
NextGen Digital Skills Program at Ufuma, Anambra State: In partnership with the Seniom foundation, we were able to train over 200 participants at the popular Federal polytechnic oko,within the space of two days on essential digital skills, filling the digital divide and equipping them for success in the modern workforce.
Startup Internship Program In collaboration with Anambra Startup Network and Anambra Techies: Were we matched startups with skilled tech professionals, fostering knowledge exchange, collaboration, partnership, employment, innovation, and economic growth.
Anambra Creative Hangout: Held on september 21, 2024, this gathering of creatives, artists, and innovators sparked fresh collaborations and networking opportunities, strengthening the Anambra creative ecosystem.
Community Outreach: we partnered with Lift and Chamagne Foundation on a community outreach program aimed at empowering girls in underserved communities, with the aim of providing 20 scholarship opportunities for girls to attend Tech institutions and gain digital skills, 20 laptops and essential tools to assist girls succeed in the digital world, supporting the quote stated by Mr Chukwuma Okoye “When girls have access to technology, they have the power to change the world”🖊.
Community Engagements: Through workshops, webinars, and networking events, we have consistently provided platforms for startups, freelancers, and tech enthusiasts to share knowledge and connect.

The Future of Activ8 Hub
As we celebrate one year of growth, we’re not slowing down, but rather we are looking ahead.
To make our space more accessible, we introduced membership plans that provides discounted access to our services. These includes:
Student memberships,Individual memberships and Corporate memberships.
These plans help foster a thriving tech and business ecosystem, ensuring that professionals, students, creatives and startups can benefit from our space, training, and networking opportunities.
We further tend to expand our training programs, including advanced courses in digital skills, entrepreneurship, and AI, through the Activ8 No Code school.
We have launched out Activ8 media, fully equipped studio that promotes podcasting, video production, digital content creation and so many more, with the aim of helping businesses and entrepreneurs promote their brands or tell their story.
We would be Introducing also night workspace services for professionals who thrive in late-hour productivity.
We tend to host more industry-focused workshops and networking events to keep our community engaged and competitive.
This milestone is a testament to the incredible community we have built so far and how we are still upholding our vision of making positive impacts in the digital ecosystem of Anambra State.
