Creating an inclusive digital economy requires more than conversations, it requires consistent investment in people and communities.

Through its ongoing partnership with Lifting Lives and Communities Initiative (LIFT), and other partners including Bonitas group, Bonitas Tech and Marketing among, John Joe and Partners among others, Activ8 Hub continues to equip girls and young people with practical digital skills that prepare them for opportunities in today’s technology-driven world.

One of the partnership’s notable milestones was the International Day of Girls in ICT, held on 13 May 2026, which brought together girls from Secondary schools and Universities across Awka and neighbouring communities for mentorship, hands-on technology sessions, and career conversations designed to inspire greater participation in STEM.

Beyond commemorating the day, both organisations have continued implementing community-based programmes that introduce participants to digital literacy, creativity, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies.

The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to reducing barriers to technology education while ensuring that young women and underserved communities are not left behind in the digital economy.

As both organisations continue working together, the focus remains on creating practical learning experiences, expanding access to technology, and empowering the next generation with skills that will remain valuable for years to come.
