Bridging the Digital Divide and Building the Future
The Next Gen Digital Skills Training, organized by Activ8 Hub, was held in Ufuma, Anambra State, and marked a major milestone in the drive to equip the next generation with the tools to succeed in a tech-driven world. Over the course of two impactful days, more than 200 young participants were trained in vital digital skills that are now essential in the global economy.
This program is a continuation of Activ8’s Hub mission as a leading digital hub in Awka, to provide accessible digital education, promote innovation, and unlock economic opportunities for youth across Southeast Nigeria.
Held in collaboration with local stakeholders, the training focused on practical topics such as; Introduction to Digital tools, Social media for Business and Branding, Online Safety and Digital Literacy, Creative Content and Freelancing basics
As a known innovation hub in Awka, Activ8 Hub brought its high impact teaching model and mentorship approach directly into a rural community, making tech education accessible where it’s needed most. By doing so, the program directly contributes to reducing the digital divide in underserved parts of Anambra State.
