The Anambra Creators Meet Up was a huge success, held on March 29th, 2025, at the Reboot Lounge. It was put together by Activ8 Hub and Bonitas Media. The Founder, Mr Chukwuma Mezie-Okoye stated how important it is for Creatives and Techies to come together, and collaborate. This vibrant gathering brought together tech enthusiasts, content creators, influencers, and innovators from the Anambra tech and creators ecosystem. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including the Commissioner for Budget and Finance, Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, and the MD of Anambra ICT Agency, Mr. Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata (CFA).

The meetup featured three thought-provoking panel discussions. The first delved into the future of education in the digital age, with esteemed speakers like Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, Commissioner for Budget and Finance; Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, MD Anambra State ICT Agency; and Mr. Chinemerem Oguegbe, among other experts. They discussed the challenges of education in Anambra State, as well as solutions, noting that creatives and techies can leverage the current trend of artificial intelligence to scale their products.

The second session highlighted the power of collaboration and partnership in shaping the digital ecosystem in Anambra State and featured several key stakeholders of the ecosystem. It was graced by the Founder of the Anambra Startup Community, Mr. Stanley Okechukwu; a representative of the Solution Innovation District (SID), Mr. Ikechukwu Anajamba; the Vice President of Anambra Innovation and Technology Network (AITECH), Mr. Isaac Emeti; a representative of Anambra Techies, Miss Gift Okeke; and a tech talent recruiter, Mr. Zikora Chukwuka.

The third panel explored the creator economy in Anambra, tackling challenges and opportunities, and emphasizing the importance of collaboration and ownership of creativity in Anambra State. This panel featured Prince Neche, Ifeanyi Obaji, Chinemerem Mmirioma, and Ozi Baba Anieto, moderated by Uche Okoye, popularly known as Anambra’s First Son.

With over 150 attendees, the event was a resounding success, fostering meaningful conversations, collaborations, and connections among creators, influencers, and innovators. Speakers like Ozi Baba Anieto, Prince Neche, Uche Okoye, Chinemere Mmirioma, and Ifeanyi Obaji shared their insights, inspiring the audience to think differently about the creative ecosystem in Anambra.

The Anambra Creators Meetup was a significant step towards building a stronger, more vibrant creative community in the state, and we’re excited to see the impact it will have in the future.
